How we do, what we do
Two times a month, we will meet you and your staff in your practice, to develop and work toward your goals.
The meetings provide a constructive environment where the team’s contributions are welcomed, problems are discussed and overcome, and achievements are celebrated. These upbeat meetings give the team a voice and are the start to changing behavior.
Each member of the team will be held accountable for specific areas of the practice and come to understand how their performance impacts the practice as a whole.
OUR COACHING FOCUSES AROUND 3 ELEMENTS THAT ARE KEY TO SUCCESSFUL TEAM BUILDING:
We believe that, given perfect circumstances your staff actually does understand what needs to be done, if asked to participate in building systems, they will willingly offer what they are and not able to get done, it is our role then to discuss why something is or is not getting done and what we can do about it…you will be amazed at this process!
WHAT DOES A WIN LOOK LIKE — often, dental practices have good months followed by bad months, WHY? It is because no one knows what a “win” looks like! One of the first things we do as a group is to determine financial and practical goals, then we determine how EACH TEAM MEMBER is going to contribute to this growth.
Without each person of the team having a level of accountability in a common system there is no CONSISTENT performance! As a team, we implement a system that all team members have input in, then apply scorekeeping to make sure that we are staying on track. This scorekeeping gives us feedback and helps us remain accountable, just like with a COACH! This is the difference maker; we are with you, step-by-step, in your practice, holding you and your staff accountable for the progress you expect.
Dental management and performance systems are put in place to create a clear, concise and consistent environment, this consistency forces us to become aware of our behavior and this ultimately produces great results. Without scorekeeping, the staff will drift back and forth without any structure or guidance.
How to get started:
A Comprehensive Exam for your practice
Our dental practice optimization strategy begins with a practice analysis so we can gain a thorough and objective understanding of how your practice operates. This allows us to evaluate the following:
- Soft tissue management protocols
- Recall and Confirmation systems
- Case presentation
- Actual number of active patients
- Mix of dental procedures
- Areas of possible growth or improvement
- Profit and Loss evaluation, including breakeven and cost base assessment
- SWOT-finally we provide a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats assessment to summarize way forward.
Our practice management consulting team can identify areas where you thrive and those that need significant improvement. Once we understand the problem, we can work together to define and implement the solution.
Implementation – now that we know, it is time to act!
Even if you know what to do, it is not a simple thing to know how, or when to implement certain systems. At Alliance Dental Consulting, we do not expect you to, we will handle implementation on your behalf. Very often, this includes providing dental front office management support and dental back office management training. Whatever is required, we providehands-on dental practice management consulting and will ensure that our strategic plan is fully implemented.
